Had a bit of a clean up tonight and emptied a box full of the old front end bits - love the smell of the 35+ yr old grease/oil, reminds me of scrap yards when I was a kid.

Gave in on my shirt project and had it done professionally (£12). It now about an XXL. Graham, if you know anyone who can make shirts you're welcome to the offcuts

No it just needs the blower belt and tensioner fitted and fuel lines tested. Its already got water/antifreeze in. Busy doing the front end at the minute as the only space I have is around the work bench. Thinking of starting up a corner shop, I'm b***k enough with all the grinding and polishing I'm doing on this front end

My DIY blasting cabinet is crap. The hand holes are too low and my chin rests on the glass steaming it up, plus I have to keep stopping to top up the resevoir (bucket) with grit. So its scrapped and I'm waiting for this to arrive (allows the grit to recirculate and has a light). If it doesn't leak I should be able to use it on the bench - have to wait for dry sunny day to use the one I made outside as it leaks around the arms. According to the specs the wishbones and even the drive shafts will fit it. link

Blasting cabinet arrived this morning, not so little, it takes up half the top of the freezer. Looks OK, it even came with a roll of ptfe tape for the fittings. My son John has decided he has no space for the compressor that I built for him (its been in my garden under a tarp since last summer). So I am going to remove the compressor and double it up with the one on my tank (2 x 2.5hp units should be sufficient) Been to Aldi tonight buying some more crap, this time a wall mounted 10m retractable air line.

Looking at the pic at the top, air line will fit just between the Baked beans and pop and the box of washing powder. John you need a large shed mate!!!

Compressor number 2 finished. Anyone want a freebie tank before I scrap it. Its got no compressor or bits on the front. I can bring it to a brekkie run. Leave it on here for a week.
