My name is Brian Robinson, I was a member of the Cleveland Cruisers from 1977 until the break up in the 80's. I was actively on the site about a year or so ago, but something happened when the site was changed. I was originally on as 59Vette but could not get back on. But success I have changed my user name to 1959Vette and Tad-ah.....it worked.

Cheers, all. It was a car that I always wanted too, It was a choice between this and a 63 Split back window. My wife Chris loved both cars but said that she wanted a convertible, but also she didn't like the front end on the 63 (but the rest of the car is beautiful). This was the car when it was bought back in 1977, it was on the original owners drive way but he wouldn't sell it. The guy who eventually bought the car kept pestering him to sell but he kept saying that he was going to put it back on the road, till one day he gave in. When he took it back home he decided tht he would re-build the car from the ground up. Unfortunately he died before he got chance to finish it. So his best mate said that he would do the car in remembrance to his friend. That's when I saw it advertised by his wife. So I don't know exactly how long since it was on the road, but my guess it would be a lot earlier than 1977 by the look of it, and although I'm the third owner I could well be the second driver.
