Well its by invitation only, and as Big Roy had his Harley finished, we had the invite down to the Satan Slaves Club house this morning, unexpected as Roy only rang this morning, but hell, what a great bunch of Guys, made us so welcome and what a Club house!!
Then it was onto the charity run at the Frontier a mile up the road at the Frontier Club in Batley.
So with Zippy opting to have his inaugural cruise in Grums T, he donned the head gear and we set off at 11.15am this morning.
''Hows this work then?''
Hey presto Deputy Dawg!!
Run through the countryside was awesome!
When we got to the little cobbled lane that lead off the main road, the Slaves greeted us with about 15 class bikes and a real warm welcome. Little did we know what we were about to experience.....
Satan Slaves President, 'Big D's £70K monster, the pictures just don't do this justice its just awesome.
(It was round about now that Al Yates seeing all the rods parked out on the main road that he stopped and had a walk down the cobbles, the place went dead quiet and Al in his 'Red' shirt in a sea of black got stared at, piss funny!! ;D (Little brown onions Al?)
Lexan glass back wheel and a one off made tyre - it's just massive! Blew me away.
The rear lights under the mudguard a skull with LED's
Stick the headlamp on and the skull on the headstock gives it some attitude!!
So after the warm welcome they asked if we'd like a tour of their club house..... oh my god!!.......get a load of this.....
A full workshop facility with MOT bay and bikes in build, theres tyre machines and ....well everything, enough room for about 10 + bikes.
then in a room to the right a reception area (walk through enterance) and shop
...and a full Gym! - get the wall......Scuse pic quality, never had anti shake on, its age ya know!!
the walls plasterd with Hot Rods Chops and Girls....
We went through a door in the corner and up a narrow wooden mill staircase to the ''Club Room''
get this....
Fully licenced Bar.....
Cafe off to the right.......
Remember this is a club house..........
Dranny - ''Just How Big a Thee?''
Roy - ''Abaaat 9inch ya wouldnt want it fur a tooth pick love!''
Grum gets a warning off ''The Guardian''
I dont often take pics of Bogs ... but this with shower, and decor was the bollox....
Back outside the the tour of the bikes....
Roy Boy's tank....
Preffesional Photographer was doing some shots for the club house wall so I jumped in....
and so we were to move off, our hosts first of course....
And that was another moment from 2012 I shall never forget. What a welcoming, genuine set of guys. Thank you for a brill morning. and so on to the frontier, battery flat (read couldnt be botherd to tale pics of Lotus and Ferraris) we had a coffe and chewed the fat for a few hours in the sun...
Roy and his new ''Bitches'' (Chris is at the Pod! )
Tim - ''I wish I had mi wheels on the road and im ungry'
Caroline - ''Oh I wish I had a bottle of wine - do they do chips n gravy ere?'
Grum - ''So what does being your bitch entail Roy?''
Zippy - ''Where are we''?
Al - ''Wish i'd not put a purple shirt on''
And so back to mine for a brew in the afternoon sun.....
and to top it off ''BigCoolbox'' Tim and mrs big box er Coolbox!! have pledged to get the Fiesta on the road and join the club for 2013, I have said that we will provisionally allow that as long as Caroline has done the botteling up!! ;D (dont forget first ones mine)
So that just leaves you Zippy, what ya got to say for yaself boy!!
Now, finally we seem to have a thing goin outside my house dont we, whats it all about boys the ''Bedford Avenue Burn Out'' thing eh?
Good attempt at 6ft Joe and a perfect 11 but our Big D still has the title!! But good effort and arrow straight.
Another Brill day in the NHRC 2012 memories. Loved it boys, loved it. Load a lafs, great company, and sunshine, Choppers and Hotrods what more dya need!
Happy Dayz!
