Well ive seen everything! Deanos electric air bed that fills the tent and is 3ft high! Now thats compact!
A walk round on Friday lunch turned up a few nice cars, not least this Pop that gets everywhere.
And this is just soooo clean, in eye popin paint!
So as the afternoon moved into early evening, and once the troubled skies had past, we agreed it was time for a little tot. (How long will it take you to spot the air bed?)
When I say little TOT the Barnsley Butcher found his knife, fell out the caravan and blamed it on ''That last can'' which proceeded to get the biggest bolockin ever!!
Tim standing close by dissarmed the assailant and set the can free. The Barnsley Butcher then showed his appreciation by givving tims ear a nible, a suck and telling him he loves him
Guess you had to be there!!
The morning didn't look too crackin for some....
So Saturday dawned, the sun came out and so did the cars...
The one thing I noticed was that Bri's 32 had now been correctly branded. And, what a cool story, get this.
If you know Bri & Mary from years ago they had a blown Rover panel, which was the first supercharged car I ever drove at 18. Emblezzened down the side in the same colours was Garanteed Auto Engines. The coupe is the same colour
and when I spotted this it was obvious it had to have it, but the sign writer now 80+ years old, spotted Bri and Mary at a show, re introduced himself and long story short came out of retirement for a few hours, thats just mega!!
Nice one Bri.
A stroll round the field before the cruise turned up a few nice things...
Some people just cant park....
Breakfast or hang over - you decide.....
And so the cruise up to custworth took i about 60 or so cars and a lovely route in the sunshine.
Chris' Dog Monty found the poshest woman in Cusworth and promptly did the deed!
So Saturday night it is then......... make your own mind up how that went!! All I will say is great laughs, great company, top night, for oh soooo many reasons!!
Get the idea?
No I cant, I just cant do that to hi, Hes a mate for gods sake, no, no no, oh ok then! Its the voices in my head I tell you!!
Few for Deano.......
Sunday, well it started fine but slowly the rain washed in as forcasted. But the NHRC still managed to put on a good old field of cars.
Thats pretty much it, a brill weekend with a lorra lafs and Dobby copped the kettle - result!
Two weeks to the Nats, lets be avin it!
