Like the illuminations, especially the ones in the visor.
Wish mine had changed over the last two years. Doing a bit of rear suspension work at the minute. Emptied the garage to paint the floor earlier this year and filled my mothers garage with stuff. Unfortunately she passed away in the summer so now have to move all the 'stuff' back before the house is sold. The new roller garage door doesn't help matters as its reduced the space by a good 6".

So Dranny txt me to say my van was in this months CC. That got me excited! Two weeks previous Dave Biggadyke sent me a message saying could he put my van in Readers Rods and have I any pictures, so i sent him a link to this page thinking id have a half page or even a page as normal. I was vey humbled to find this when I got home, as ive said so many times, it aint no show pony, but got to say im very proud of this in CC. Thanks Dave.

I have a spare grille to make up for the van. The one on it was a quick wag over and its a bit broken and rough, so i invested £40 in an ebay find.... And had a shot cleaning up the grille. I used the air saw to cut out all the cross peices in the center And masked up the chrome edges, the one on the van is flat silver paint. I glassed and sealed in some strengthening.. And had a go....worked a treat! Cut the grille to take the side lights as the old one but with better holders. Got a few sheets of small hole mesh to fit from the rear of the main centre grille. Sand blasted and cleaned the grille, coat of primer.. Happy with that. Ill finish cutting and fitting mesh later.

So cut the mesh, primed and sprayed and laquered the grille. Got some stainless self tappers at the swop meet last week, fastened mesh in. Coming on now.

New lights sealed in, let that set and buff the chrome, and fit it! Happy with that look.

Ok so, waiting for other two pairs to arrive. Ive done one as is and one of the outer ones in new position as theres a metal flange behind i had to cut yesterday. Ultimately there will be three per side, only got to drill and fix them in. Ill do that next weekend time permitting mate.

Having had the front wheels for the van for some time, i struggled to make my mind up what to do. Polish the back to match the front? Paint the front to match the back? Flat all four? I dont want the hassle of another set of wheels to polish really. So checked out a few companies powder coat products, Dragon Powder Coating was the one, so i dropped the van over to Micks and we dropped the wheels off. Well yesteeday we picked them up and re fitted the tyres, and boy am i happy with that outcome. They look like new mags! So thanks to Mick for the hand and van storage etc, were finally there, all be it needing new centre caps for the front but hey ho! Job done. Rears done.... Rollin home.... i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a597/SuperCCV8/Dodge%20Van/F03DF88A-0AE2-40D3-B759-BB5B3356BB37_zpsrrgt5hr3.jpg[/IMG] Happy with that!
