Well, I got a bit bored this morning so rang Dranny to put the kettle on and stoke up the log burner and had a ride over.
New shifters in and set up now...
There was a few bits to do on his truck, he managed to get an old 20's Chrysler front bumper and when I lifted the hood there were no hood props, so we set to..........
He had some old rods from something or other so firstly we set about getting them to the same length using the errr... blacksmiths brazier, ok log burner....
Then gave it a good ol pounding and a bend......
Cut a slot in the end....
Welded in a small bolt...........
and hey presto.............
He does assure me that they wont be painted anytime soon!!
Then we had a play with the bumper..........
Never got too far as Chris rang, so we went round there for a brew. Chris had the running boards off the Ford 8 and was having a tinker....
The engine bay looks compact but pretty neat, and a red under grille light!! Way cool!!
Oh and not forgetting the Ford 9inch axle ligt! Way to go mate....
Just the tyres to swap so the letters are out now then.....
Dash is pretty cool....
So all in all a good o'l day.
