Ahh Mt T. , nice try there but no holiday for two. However i never even thought of that one, and it does look close so 1/2 a point for that one. Heres clue no. 1
It was put together purely to win a certain trophy, and not very well by all accounts, the mainn colour of the car is still visible. Ive been trying to find a pic of this, i can remember it but struggling to find a picture.

I should have engaged brain properly before opening mouth! In hindsight 'Fruit Machine' was a steel '30/31, that there is a glass '28/29 body, and a Dave Palmer 'Rodshop' one at that I believe. Dave didn't start up until the mid '80's, and I honestly don't recall a Rodshop A Delivery that made any real mark on our hotrodding world, I think I know where that is, is it at Dave's in Huddersfield? I recognise that blue tilt front-end, I remember talking to Dave and him telling me he had a Model A called ??, but to be honest not really knowing the car that much, he did describe it but I couldn't think of it, he said the name but I didn't recognise it, then or now? So? Am I on the right track or way wide of the mark? Or just say the name and put us all out of our misery, cos to be honest, there ain't really that much to go on from the pic!
Cheers, Micky T.
P.S. This is a bit anal I know, but if it is a 'Rodshop' body it's an early one, Model A's had 3-hinges originally, when Dave Palmer made the 1st bodies he just left the top hinge out, but the doors didn't shut or look correct, so on the better selling Coupe moulds they were altered and the middle hinge was moved up slightly to even it out... I'm betting now I'm way wide of the mark?!!

I went to buy this body a number of years back but saw another body sat in the corner with two ton of sand and shite against it. Guess what that turned in to.

I remember it. It was sat in the entrance in Donny. Only show it ever went to i think. It looked well but was blasted together very shitly (is that a word?) and vanished after. And no i cant find a pic either. Think it was 86 when i had pop pickup in there. The memory fades.

I think I've found the original builder and a previous owner? So I've asked them both if this is correct and also asked for some pics. I'll let you know the outcome!

I've had a reply from them both, here's what one of the owners Mo Craig sent me... And these pics from the original builder Stan Yanetta...Having seen the pics I do remember it now, but by talking to the Mo Craig (who bought my van from the original builder shortly after it was finished), I see what happened to it now, Mo bought the delivery from Stan, again shortly after it was finished and took it back to Ireland, he then swapped it with John Asker for the Econoline van called "Galictica". John then sold it to a guy called Dusty, and he was supposed to have stripped it down for a re-build, I'm guessing Dave Mellor then bought it in some kind of stripped down state, and the rest as they say is history.
I'm sure it's a 'Rodshop' body, because the pics show the delivery body sat on one of Dave Palmer's 1-piece floorpans, the same one as I used on my '29 coupe that I got from him...
There yer go Russ, if there's anything else you want me to get to the bottom off, then by all means give me a call, yer know where I am! Gotta give me 10/10 for that surely? Lol Cheers, Micky T.
P.S. There might be a few more pics on the way.
P.P.S. I still think you should get the body Damien, and make something interesting out of it, a hi-boy Delivery perhaps?

If the log book came with it i might rebuild the car but 29 model a log books command a price that make it very expensive.
