This years show will take place on Sunday 27th April and is hosted by the Old Silcoatians Association.
It is entry by donation and all proceeds will go into school projects.
Last year was the 1st car show ever to be held at this prestigious venue.
There was quite a bit of red tape to plough through and took me almost 2 years to plan from its inception!
Thanks to all who helped with the organisation and generous sponsorship and not least everyone who brought their vehicles to exhibit (almost 200). pics of last years event can be viewed elsewhere on this forum.
Over a thousand members of the public attended throughout the day making this show a huge success with a great family atmosphere and raising nearly 3 grand in the process!!
So, working on the principle " if it aint broke, don't fix it!" we will adopt the same formula rain or shine, and see if the 2nd Silcoates School Classic & American car show will be more ,or at least as successful as last year.
The show is open to ALL classics, American, hot rods, customs trucks, vans and motor bikes.
Top 5 trophies plus overall best in show.
No pre entry just turn up on the day grab an entry number and chuck a bit of change in the donations bucket.
Gates open 9am for exhibitors (cut off for entry 10.30am) entry by donation.
Gates open 11am for public (non exhibitors) admission adults £3.... kids and o.a.p.s £2... under 12's free (pets are welcome but must strictly be kept on a lead at ALL times and any deposits taken care off !)
There will be movie cars, quality authentic american style food (served from the yellow school bus diner), doughnuts, speciality teas and coffee, icecream, a fully restored 1920's fairground organ, a bouncy castle star wars characters and maybe even a guest appearance from the stig...
