In these time of austerity we carn't all go out and buy our lime fire headers, As i really wanted them on the '32, and as i am as poor as a church mouse, my 4.0 v8 daily discovery sees to that, the only conclusion was to make them. My mate sean came to the rescue with his fabricating skills. Here's a step by step guide to making cool exhausts. First a sheet of 18 gauge steel, sean did loads of measuring, stuff i know nothing of being a grease monkey, and i did some cutting and it looked like this. Then using a length of exhaust tubing in a vice, start to bend and shape in to a cone. Use a rubber mallet to knock it in to shape. Weld it up. And it should look like this. Weld the first bend. Then weld to the block plate. Continue welding the pipes in. Now being a silly bugger i forgot to take a pic of the finished item, but heres a poor one with a silly boat anchor in the way . I will post another better pic later. . Simples.
