Thought I'd put this on here a while ago but it must have been on FB. First crank in 30 yr, nice oil pressure strange noise.

That video was taken before I had the leaking fuel pipe probs, now the new ones have been made should be OK. Must try it soon. Just paid a fortune for new bearings for the back end, it's soon off to have some radius arm brackets and bottom damper mounts fitted. Bottom dampers mounts need 1" hole for mounting tube.

Change of plan on wishbones as when I took them off for a bit of a clean up I remembered how I had narrowed them many many moons ago. I had bored out each end to take some thick wall tube then cut the wishbone inserted the tube welded the ends up and welded around the end I cut. So drilling a hole through for the shock mount tube would weaken the tube inside. So new idea is to weld the tube on the top using the radius rod bracket and a fillet for support.
Now also have a set of stainless pistons and seals for the front four pots so they just need a bit of a final polish before being plated. Have also got all new discs, bearings, king pins and plastic bushes for the front end so its also time to do a bit more polishing on the front bits and pieces, then figure out how to fit the crossmember.
Just ordered a couple of stainless cherry bomb type boxes to hook up with the headers.
Oh and I must get the engine fired up.

New 'anvil' polished by hand today incase I need to do any metal forming. Too heavy to use polishing wheel as it weighs 20kg.
