I reaaly dont think the words "car" and "Keep" will compute when placed together in one short sentance John, he may just look stunned and become speechless!

So with that all done we started to set gaps and bolt everything up so we can fix up the doors and wings and we know where the body lines need to be for referance. With the gremlin dead, it went together reasonably well just a bit of grinding and welding on the cowel and wing mounts to get everything to sit as it should. Only way to do this is to just keep everyting loose and keep it moving, it takes longer than you think to get all the gaps and lines but its getting there now. Pretty pleased with the lines now. We can now start replacing a bit of tin worm in the doors and wings, they arent too bad so maybe a couple of weeks or so and we should be nearly there with metal grindin weldin and general boshin! Ok ok we had to try the rims, well it is the first time weve actuasly had or seen the car with all the panels on and i gotta say its gonna be a nice thing. Well thst was Saturday folks. Tuesday more boshin and grindin! Yipeeee.

So last piece of the front end went on tonight, the bumper. Bit of jigglin and we got it about right. We then stood back and thought about the wings and doors, this metal work is most definately not over! Theres the wing botton to make with all the swage lines.. Door bottoms.... More clag to take out to unearth god knows what.... So no time to mess about then. Right lets tackle the hardest first, the wing bottom, oh joy of joys.,,, Bosh bash grind.... Cut snip grind bosh bend and bosh again... Grind bosh weld.... Tune in next time for more, well boshin really!. :-(
