Billing Fun Run May 30th – June 1st 2014
This year’s Fun Run is over the weekend of 30thMay to 1st June . The event starts on the Friday with campers and traderssetting up camp . In the evening therewill be a bar , disco and live music from rockabilly/rock’n’roll band The Corsairs in the main marquee , chillout and meet your mates for a natter.
Saturday morning , bright and early sees a chance for theTot Rods to be let loose on the go-cart track . At around mid day there is acruise out in the Rods to a top secret destination . Alternatively laze around checking out the trade stands , visitthe fair or go swimming .On Saturday evening ,back by popular demand ,will belive music from The 2Tones, a brilliant Ska band , along with the disco in the marquee .
Sunday is show day when the main field is filled with Rods ,swelled by the day trippers .The show field is open to all Pre 72 vehicles . Wewill have the normal Pop Festival and this year we will have a special categoryfor the Lady hot rodders amongst us ,bring your cars down in front of themarquee for the special line up .Please register in the NSRA tent for a shownumber .
An event time table will be on view at the NSRA tent .
Booking
NSRA members can receive a discount for camping , as long asyou book at least 7 days in advance . You must book at least 2 nights to get adiscount . Any nights that are not the Friday , Saturday or Sunday you will paythe normal Billing rates . To book call 01524781453 For members dicount please see Members section or the next Gasser magazine.
Standard on the day rates are £20 per night per pitch or £26per night with electric .
Electric pitches are allocated , normal pitches are firstcome first served .
A pitch is one tent / caravan with upto 4 adults ,in one car.
There are no extra charges for show entry
Single day charges for Friday to Sunday ,without camping are£6 adults, £3 kids (6-15) under 5’s free
If you are staying in the hotel you will have to pay each day.
